Chemical methods
Use pickling paste or spray to help the corrosion site repassivate to form a chromium oxide film to restore its corrosion resistance. After pickling, in order to remove all pollutants and acid residues, it is very important to rinse properly with water. After everything is processed, it can be repolished with polishing equipment and closed with polished wax. For local slight rust spots, 1:1 gasoline and oil mixture can also be used to wipe off the rust spots with a clean cloth.
2. Mechanical methods
Sandblasting cleaning, cleaning with glass or ceramic particle spraying, annihilation, brushing and polishing. It is possible to erase the pollution caused by previously removed materials, polished materials or annihilated materials by mechanical means. All kinds of pollution, especially exotic iron particles, may become a source of corrosion, especially in humid environments. Therefore, it is best to clean the surface mechanically under dry conditions. The mechanical method can only clean its surface and cannot change the corrosion resistance of the material itself. Therefore, it is recommended to repolse it with polishing equipment and seal it with polishing wax after mechanical cleaning.
